Yes – we are currently insured by AAMI with $10million cover for public and product liability. We also hold professional indemnity insurance – so in the unlikely and unfortunate event that your property is damaged while we are working on it, your property is covered by our insurance.
Yes – according to local real estate agents, a roof restoration can add many thousands to the resale of your home. One example added $15,000 for a simple repaint and repoint of the roof.
Pointing is the external part of mortar joints and can be damaged through weather and decay. Once your home is built, you should have someone inspect your roof for necessary repairs and repointing a t the ten year mark. Over ten years, the timber on your home will have dried and settled and this can cause your roof to move and potentially crack. A qualified roofer can inspect your roof for any necessary repairs and let you know if repointing is required. which will prevent potential leaks and damage. After that, it is a good idea to have your roof checked every 10 – 15 years.
